Licensing Overview
Licensing Model
At Regular Lines, fonts are licensed as software, not sold as physical products. When you purchase a font license, you’re acquiring the right to use that font in specific, defined ways. However, the font itself remains the intellectual property of Regular Lines, as it is software and not a tangible product. Your font usage is governed by an individual license document known as the "Specific User License" (SUL). The SUL outlines the precise terms and conditions of permitted use and serves as a legally binding agreement between you and Regular Lines. In certain cases, the SUL may override aspects of our general End User License Agreement (EULA), such as user parameters or specific usage rights tailored to individual end users. Together, the SUL and EULA constitute the full licensing contract.
Basic Types of Licenses
I – Desktop (otf/ttf): for print and/or screen projects (incl. social media, motion, video)
II – Web (woff/woff2): for web projects (embedded into a website)
III – App (woff/woff2): up to 10k monthly active users (embedded into a mobile app)
If you are working on a more extensive design project, please contact us via email for more details.
Third-Party Sharing
If the license holder needs to share font files with subcontractors or other third parties involved in a project, they can extend the desktop license for third-party use by contacting us via email. Third parties include anyone not directly employed by the license holder, such as freelancers, external designers, other design agencies, PR firms, producers, developers, printers, and similar collaborators.
Discounts
We offer a special discounted license for students. For more details, please contact us via email. This student license is applicable to all types of academic projects, including class assignments, self-initiated work, or designs commissioned by the school, such as promotional materials for events like open days, graduation shows, lectures, and more. Additionally, students are permitted to use the licensed typefaces on their personal websites and social media profiles.
Refunds
All sales of Regular Lines fonts are final. Once a font has been purchased, it cannot be returned or refunded. However, if you encounter any defects or issues with the font, please notify us within 30 days of your purchase. We will promptly provide an appropriate replacement to ensure you receive a high-quality product.

Licensing Overview
Licensing Model
Regular Lines TF licensing follows the model introduced by Dinamo in 2020. Essentially, the value of a typeface depends on the size of the licensing company, determined by the number of its employees. The license owner, who acquires the usage rights, is the client or end customer commissioning the design work and using the font for their company, rather than the commissioned designer or design agency. Regular Lines TF allows the commissioned designer or design agency to test available typefaces free of charge via trial fonts, including for presentations, proposals, or pitches to the client or end customer.
